Nationally recognized as one of the most respected surgeons in bariatric medicine, Dr. Marema has performed over 7,000 bariatric procedures. He is a graduate of the University of Miami School of Medicine, and has served as a member of many reputable organizations including the American Medical Association, Florida Medical Association, Fellow of the American College of Surgery and a Diplomat of the American Board of Surgery among others. His specializes in both open and laparoscopic surgery procedures as well as adjustable gastric banding. Being a successful bariatric patient himself has given Dr. Marema the unique understanding of the process from that perspective, and allows him to be informative, and thorough with patients as they navigate through bariatric medical options.
Christine Routhier, MD
A board-certified general surgeon, Dr. Routhier specializes in the treatment of breast disease. She is a graduate of State University of New York Downstate, where she also completed her residency in general surgery. She subsequently practiced in the NYC area at Kings County Hospital in Brooklyn and Lenox Hill Hospital in Manhattan. She also helped to organize the core curriculum of education for the surgical residency at SUNY Downstate before relocating to St. 奥古斯丁在2008年.
